I’d like to ask if magkano po kaya aabutin para mapaayos ang teeth ko. Got crooked teeth, since sobrang magkadikit yung two front teeth ko, may nafoform na cavity sa may likod. May sira din po ang molars ko.
And may mairerefer po ba kayong orthodontist somewhere Antipolo or QC na trusted pero di naman po masyadong kamahalan. Mostly, dentists lang po yung mga nakikita ko dito. Thank you po

Pangarap Magpabunot ng mga Ngipin

Nikka : Doc, pwede bang bunutin na lang yung mga sirang ngipin? Ipapabraces ko sana eh. Okay lang ba kahit walang molar teeth sa lower?

Ask the Dentist : Ubos na nga ngipin mo gusto mo pa ipabunot. Pagtanda mo, magsisisi ka. Kahit gaano kagaling ang dentist mo, hindi niya kayang pantayan ang tunay na ngipin. Kahit sa simpleng pakikipaghalikan, mahirap ang may pustiso. Pwede masungkit ng dila ng BF mo ang pustiso.

Magpapanoramic X-Ray ka muna. Tapos tignan natin kung anu-ano ang dapat bunutin. Ang panoramic x ray, magagamit mo din oras na magpabraces ka. Isa yun sa hahanapin ng dentist mo sa braces. Kapag ang nag-o-ortho sayo ay hindi ka hiningan ng x ray, magduda ka. Base sa litrato na naisend mo, may isang dapat bunutin. Pero tignan natin sa x -ray.

Nikka : Sige po Doc. Ippm ko na lang po sayo ung Xray.

Kimpoy : magandang gabi po,..

nagpapasta po ako last week, tpos kagabi po ay may nakagat ako na na maliit na buto at biglang sumakit ang ngipin ko na may pasta,.. hindi na po natanggal ang sakit,.. uminom nlang po ako ng mefenamic para mawala ang kirot dahil sarado ang dental clinic ngayong pasko,.. ano po ba ang problema?

Ask the Dentist : Ang problema ay nakakagat ka ng buto. Pwedeng nagkaroon ng crack ang pasta mo, o kaya’y ang ngipin mo mismo.

Kimpoy : sobrang skit po kc kaya kung ano anu na ang ginawa ko kagabi para mawala,.. sinukan kong mumugan ng brandy para mawala ung bacteria,.. tpos nagmumugdin po ako ng maalat na tubig at nilalagyan ko rin po ng toothpaste ung masakit na part

Ask the Dentist : Hindi yan normal. Hindi mo tatawaging pangingirot ang kirot kung normal. Ang gagawin mo ay pumunta sa dentist. Duda ako na maayos ulit iyan sa pasta lang. Baka RCT na ang kailangan.

Lynn : hello po,,, ako po ung may anak na 8yo na may small portion na basag ang front tooth… bale naisip ko lang po na since 8yo pa lang sya eh hindi pa po at its maximum ung laki ng front tooth nya para galawin ng dentist… doc, ano po kaya ang mangyayari dito sa front tooth na to ng anak ko, either for now or kung malaki na sya? please doc, i need your advice,, if you have time po, sana maka-reply kayo… ito po ang pics nya=).

Nikka : Hi Doc! Magtatanong lang ako. Eto po yung legends nung mga kulay kulay diyan sa picture:

yung straight lines po na grey=mga umitim sa teeth (cavities ata pero dot pa lang naman. in between po siya ng teeth)

yung X po na black= it means sira na po yung teeth at abot na po sa pulp yung cavities pero hindi pa nabubunot. halos eaten na po ng cavities yung whole tooth.

yung X po na grey= it means sira po yung teeth pero mababaw pa lang po at hindi pa nakakain nung cavities yung tooth.

yung shade na black= it means extracted na po yung teeth.

uhmmm, my question doc…. pwede pa po ba yan ipabraces? Kasi yung mga central incisors ko po is sungki (yun lang naman). at saka may mga ways pa po ba para maisave yung iba ko na teeth na hindi naman dapat bunutin? ano po ba yung mga teeth na dapat bunutin? ilang weeks po yung gamutan na kailangan? Mga 165K pataas ang dental implant retained bridge. Syempre pwede ka sumugal sa bridge. Pero siguradong sigurado na bibigay ang bridge mo. Unless napakagaling ng napuntahan mong dentist, wala kang ibang bungi, wala kang abnormal na pagkilos ng panga mo, at napakalalambot ng kinakain mo.

Ely : Hi doc,
I just wanted to ask some few questions po. ‘M on my late 20’s and i just had a jacket crown in my 4 front teeth (2 front/ lateral and canine yesterday. I had an extraction in my lateral 6 yrs ago and my 2 front teeth are misaligned so my dentist decided to go for a jacket crown/ bridge (porcelain fused to metal) the temporary is quite good na dn but the original and permanent that he puts on me yestrday is indeed disappointing. Ang kapal and ang laki nun 2 front teeth- mukhang bugs bunny. It really looks obvious na jacket plus it dont fit well. He suggests to grind it but he asked me if i will risk it- it will turn rough and the risk to break.
Should i be the one to take the risk? I paid him in full but I dnt get the result I wanted.
What do you think I should do? I have fear that when he fix it bka lalo lng masira and I also have that fear when he remove it bka matanggal na tuluyan un front teeth q.
I will appreciate your soonest reply as I am thinking of going back in the dentist this morning. (Can’t sleep bcoz of this)

Ely : Of course i wont tell lies, kya nga po aq ngc-consult. Dis is how it looks like. My misaligned teeth before are far better than this one.

Ely: The cement on the upper part can still be seen and there’s a gap at the back of the teeth. The fake teeth is very pronounced when in fact 8people today had the guts of telling me – na ang pangit ng gawa.
Plus the fact na ang kapal ng construction that’s why ‘m having difficulty w/ my speech. So far po, nothing is painful on the tooth per se but i am in trauma brought by the pain in on off of the temporary and permanent plus ang bigay ng kamay nya.
I dnt wanna take the risk giving him another chance to fix it especially that concerns the front teeth. In this case, do i have the right to ask for a refund so i could just have another dentist fix it instead? I will appreciate ur response. Many thanks

Ask the Dentist : Ang pwede mong gawin ay ipagawa mo ulit sa kaya. Kung hindi ka satisfied, hindi mo dapat pinasemento. Since pinasemento mo, ibig sabihin pumayag ka sa itsura. Kung ipagawa mo ulit sa kanya, may pagkakataon siyang “itama base sa standard mo” ng kagandahan.

Mas mabuti sana kung nagpabraces ka muna. Ang hugis ng ngipin ay dictated din ng katapat na ngipin. Kung sungki sa baba tulad ng sayo, dinidiktahan niya din ang hugis ng sa taas.

Sa pagprepare ng ngipin, normal na “bumigat” ang kamay, dahil binabawasan niya ang ngipin mo.

May maayos ka bang camera? distorted yang mga litrato mo. Mag-“e” ka tapos smile ng maluwang tapos litrato. Gamit ka ng macro, with flash at without flash. Sa tingin ko ngayon, bagay sa bibig mo ang ngipin mo. Pero kung malilitratuhan mo nang maayos, makikita ko ang sinasabi mo kung bakit hindi ka satisfied.
