Eureka : hi doc, good morning po . ako nga pala si mhigz , galing po ako sa ask the dentist site nyo , and nabasa ko rin po ung mga naka post dun , dito ko na lang po kayo nagawang imessage kasi nabanggit nyo na mas nababasa nyo po dito , ganito po kasi un , nagpabunot ako ng 1 ipin last week ,. and now , nag iisip po ako kung ano magandang gawin para hindi naman pangit tignan na bungi . ok sana ung pustiso kaso baka malaglag naman bigla. kaya iniisip ko po kung yung mismong nakadikit na lang , ung bridge at jacket po ba , ano po yung pinag kaiba nya ? dun po kasi ako nalilito ,.. salamat po sa magiging reply nyo

Ask the Dentist : Ang bridge para sa may bungi. Ang crown para sa may sirang ngipin na pwede pa i-restore sa crown. Kaya para sa yo, bridge ang dapat gawin.

Eureka : salamat po sa sagot doc isa pa nga po pala doc, kanina po kasi nung tinitignan ko sa salamin ung ipin ko , napansin ko na may mga maliliit na sira pala ung iba , and yung sa front lower teeth ko po sa likod nito may mga namumuo dito na parang magaspang na kulay dilaw na halos umabot na sa gums , akala ko nga po namuo lang ung kinain ko kanina, nung nag brush ako andun pa rin hindi na-alis,. tingin nyo doc ano ung bagay na un na nasa mga ngipin ko? this week ko pa lang po kasi plano mag pa tingin sa dentist ,. dapat ko rin po bang ipa x-ray ang ngipin ko ? magkano po kaya sa tingin nyo aabutin ng pag papa x-ray ? salamat po ulit doc .

Eureka : ung binunot po ung sa may incisors katabi po ng pangil , hindi ko na po kasi nagawang itanong sa dentist ung kalagayan ng mga ngipin ko kasi sa center lang po ako nag pabunot at marami po kasi akong kasunod ,.. sige po doc magpapalinis na lang muna ako , salamat po ulit ng marami , at babasahin ko na din po yan about sa bridge

Ang pinakamabuti mong gawin, magpa-panoramic x ray ka muna. Para makita kung healthy pa yung natititra mo pang ngipin.

Dapat nga bang bayaran kapag nagpaBridge at RCT ulit?

Nila : Good day,i had crown & fixed jacket done last February 2013 (front upper 12 elements),the upper right last molar had a partial root canal first .I paid 6k per tooth plus other treatment so i paid about 78k.The problem is after a week my last molar began to ache. Last April i visited the Philippines & went to the dentist who did the job he said the crown shld be removed otherwise the molar will get infected since i got no time & the procedure will take a week & im about to leave i told the dentist that iìll be back in May.These past 4 days i got a severe toothache & my upper rigth gum is swelling ,im taking antibiotics for 3 days also a pain killer coz i cant bear the pain.My questions is,should i have to pay the dentist again?He did a bad job & thus causing me sufferings & i even quarelled w/ my Italian hubby.Here in Italy in this case the patient won’t pay even a single cent & he could sue the dentist instead…Thank you
PS by the way can you refer a good & honest dentist?I want to change my lower crowns & fixed bridge since a tooth is beginning to cause me trouble.

Ask the Dentist : Yes. MAgbabayad ka dapat. Parang sa restaurant yan, kunyari kakain ka. Sinabihan mo ang waiter na hindi ka magbabayad dahil bad food yun inorder niyo noong nakaraan. Hindi ka magbabayad pero kakain ka. Tapos inaway pa ng asawa mo ang waiter. Baka duraan ang pagkain mo or yung pagkain noong isang linggo ang ihain sayo.

Hindi masisiguro ang quality kung hindi ka magbabayad.

Nila : So yung quality ng trabaho nia walang guarantee parang d ata tama,n damage lng ung pasyente nia laki p ng nagastos…thanks for the info…

Ask the Dentist : Oo. Dahil sa Italy, napakamahal ng bayad. Kaya yung quality dapat mataas. Ang quality may presyo. Kaya kapag mura ang bayad, doon nasisira ang quality.

Ask the Dentist : Really? Kapag hindi masarap ang pagkain sa sikat na restaurant, hindi ka na buamabalik? Hindi ka pa nakasubok kumain sa Jollibee?

Ask the Dentist : Binibigay ko ang opinion ko. Ikaw ang bahalang magdecide. The thing is, kung hindi mo babayaran, yung quality hindi mo masisiguro. Ang dentistry, hindi exact science. Kahit gaano kaperpekto ang treatment, may pwedeng mangyari na beyond control ng dentist. May biglang sasakit, may biglang magpafracture, may iba’t ibang kaabnormalan na pwedeng mangyari. Hindi exact science dahil iba’t ibang tao, iba’t ibang reaction ng katawan ng tao sa dental treatment.

Ask the Dentist : Kung may assurance siya na walang magiging problem, dapat nga niyang malaman na may naging problem. May common na sinusunod sa mga dentist, na kung may problem, balik muna ang patient sa dentist niya para may chance maayos ang problem. Kung hindi na possible, saka ka niya gagawan.

Kung nasa sayo ang xray mo, pwede mo litratuhan tapos send sa akin. Yun eh kung gusto mo ng opinion ko sa kung ano dapat gawin sa ngipin mong may problem.

Removable Partial Denture

And may pustiso po ako sa taas din sa harap 4 na ipin po, pag nabunot po yung mga ipin ko sa bagang ano po ba maganda ireplace? Jacket Crowns Cost Philippines

Jairo : do you have a clinic in manila? i’d like to have my two front teeth to go for jacket… how much yung cheapest but good type? eventually ill have all the upper teeth to have jacket as well, kasi weird naman sa kulay yung dalawang front teeth lang diba? thanks!

Ask the Dentist : Wala akong cheapest. Puuro good type lang. Hindi na kailangan ijacket lahat. Ibabagay ang jacket sa tunay na ngipin. Yun ang dahilan kung bakit wala akong cheapest.

Jairo : my two front teeth ay cracked… naka pasta lang sya.. it’s like half tooth-half past..the probelm with it is that it keeps on breaking, so i have to redo the pasta over and over…. i dont want that.. jacket is more permanent and lasts longer right po? so i’d really want it instead of the pasta…

Jairo : i did already… hmm.. it’s with my dentist who did the pasta… she asked for one before she continued my braces. she probably have cleaned it naman before the pasta.

anyway, so do you do jackets po? how much does it cost?

Ask the Dentist : 5 thousand kada crown. Yun yung porcelain fused to metal crown. Under normal light, hindi halata. Pero sa maliwanag medyo grayish. Sa all ceramics 20 thousand pataas. Sa esthetics, pinakaok ang all ceramics sa anteriors.

Ask the Dentist : Ipapanoramic xray mo muna bago ka magpakabit ng bridge. Kung gusto mo ng tama at hindi maling treatment, dapat makita muna kung healthy ang kakapitan bago ka magpalagay ng bridge.
