Anna-Leen : Hi Doc, magandang araw. Nagpa consult po ako sa dentist kahapon dahil sumasakit ang ipin ko. Ipina root canal ko po back in 2012 tapos masakit na naman po. In-X ray po at may infection nga daw po ulit. Quoted price is 10K for root canal & papalitan crown ko sa 2 front teeth at 20K each. May ma-advise ka po ba na mas mura? Salamat Doc. Ordinaryong uring manggagawa (proletariat) lamang po kasi ako.

Ask the Dentist : Ang all porcelain crown usually nagkakahalaga ng 20K pataas. Ang problem kung minsan porcelain fused to metal crown ay pwede ding 20K pataas sa ibang clinic tulad sa high end na clinics lalo na sa mall.

Anna-Leen : I think so Doc, sabi nya ay yung pati loob e may porcelain para daw hindi mag reflect (ng pangingitim) yung may metal.Not sure sa term, parang porcelain butt ung sinabi nya.

Ask the Dentist : Ilang ngipin ang i-rct? Kung gusto mo makamura, wag sa mall. Magtanong tanong ka. Bale sa pagtatanong mo sa iba’t ibang cliic, kunin mo average price. Tapos average price saka mo naman tignan ang gamit nila. Dapat may x ray yan. Bawatstep may x ray ang RCT.
Anong name ng dentist? Hehehe! Parang natuto sa akin yan ah. Hanap ka ng all ceramics. 20K usually ang price sa all ceramics. Kung may butt, malamang na may metal yan.

Nico : kelangan pba i xray un doc?..w8 ask ko lng parng npansin ko b4 un sa pandikit na ginamit.skin nun yr 2008 maganda un kapit.parng whiteglue ung quality nya.ngaun nmn yr 2012 bagong palit ung fixbrdg ko. prng clear glue nmn ung quality nya…prng hnd maganda ung kapit. habang 2matagl ngkakahangin ung loob ng pinagkakapitan n poste ng fixbrdg ko.

Ask the Dentist : Hindi na kailangan. Bili ka na lang ng kandila tapos sindihan mo mamayang alas dos ng umaga. Magdasal ka sa mga espiritu para makita ko ang condition ng ngipin mo na hindi gumagamit ng xray.

Precious : doc ask ko lang po sana as to what kind ng jacket crown ang naglalast na di nagdi-discolor and kung hanggan kelan ung shelf life kung baga ng ibat ibang jacket crown and the prices nadin… naghahanap p kc aq ng option kung ano dapat crown ang pwede qng pagawa (w/in a certain budget kc e). tnx po!

Xiao : Hi doc! goodmorning po. im still a student, well, nung bata pa ako. i had a dentist na di ata marunong. kasi naalala ko. pag may prob ngipin ko, nasira or what, binubunot nya. so ngayon. ang pangit ng ngipin ko sa taas. way back in high school. di ako conscious sa ngipin ko so i seldomly visit my dentist. eto po kasing sa unahan na ngipin ko. yung 2 front teeth na malaki, di po sya pantay. tabingi sya pero di masyado obvious and the other one is longer. at yung ngipin ko between the FANG tooth and the front tooth is missing sa right side ko. and after the FANG tooth, missing ulit ngipin ko. di ko alam kng ano gagawin ko dito. can i please ask you kung ano po magandang gawin para po mabudgetan ko po. i need your genius advice doc. 17 years akong di makapagsmile na labas ang ngipin T_T
